Interview Hiring Training
Would you like to see the staff of our school represent the diverse city we live in? Would you like to advocate for teachers and administrators with a strong anti-racist focus? In order to ensure that those furthest from educational justice have their voices heard, TC PTA encourages BIPOC parents and caregivers to participate in this integral part of the hiring process. Interview Hiring Training (SPS/SEA)
To participate in a hiring interview, you must attend a mandatory training session put on by Seattle Education Association (SEA) and Seattle Public Schools (SPS). These sessions are held once a month throughout the school year. Please see the details below, or visit the SEA website to register for an upcoming training session.

SPS/SEA site-based interview trainings are open to all administrators, certificated and classified employees, as well as parents, students and community representatives. This training will prepare individuals to participate on interview teams to hire for positions that are represented by the Seattle Education Association (SEA) - Certificated, Paraprofessional, and SAEOP employee groups.
