Interview Hiring Training

Would you like to see the staff of our school represent the diverse city we live in? Would you like to advocate for teachers and administrators with a strong anti-racist focus? In order to ensure that those furthest from educational justice have their voices heard, TC PTA encourages BIPOC parents and caregivers to participate in this integral part of the hiring process. See upcoming dates for the interview training and details for signing up below.

SPS/SEA site-based interview trainings are open to all administrators, certificated and classified employees, as well as parents, students and community representatives. This training will prepare individuals to participate on interview teams to hire for positions that are represented by the Seattle Education Association (SEA) - Certificated, Paraprofessional, and SAEOP employee groups.

NOTE: The site-based interview training must be taken once every 3 years. If you have taken the training, but are unsure of your eligibility, please visit this page on the Seattle Education Association website, and scroll to the bottom and click on the list name that applies to you.
