October 18, 2021 - Transportation Shortage
On October 18, 2021, Seattle Schools will experience a reduction of Yellow School Bus transportation services due to a shortage of bus drivers in compliance with a vaccine mandate. Remaining transportation services will prioritize students who the district is legally obligated to provide transportation and those most vulnerable. In response, the TC Community has created a Transportation Connection Form for families to connect about their transportation needs and abilities to offer support. If you opt to use this family-to-family resource, you do so at your own risk. Please respect the privacy of those participating. This is an independent family-to-family resource and not affiliated with Seattle Public Schools or SPS community partners.

Do you need support getting your child to or from school on a regular basis?
Do you have an open seat in your car you could offer to another TC student?
Will you be walking or biking with your child to or from school regularly, and can add a neighbor to your group?
If the answer to any of these questions is YES, please fill out the Transportation Connection Form to coordinate with other TC families in your area. Once your response is submitted, you will be taken to a screen providing a link and password to the spreadsheet form results. Families can use the results to connect with other families to coordinate carpooling, walking or biking to and/or from school. You will also receive an email giving you access to edit/update your response as needed.
Privacy: Community members who opt to complete this form for family-to-family connection, do so at their own risk. We ask all participating to please respect the personal information that is shared.
